I'm trying not to be too mean, but you really are pathetic. It's amazing enough that you didn't keep notes or any other records, but can't you remember anything about the person to find him/her again? Isn't finding candidates the job of a headhunter? And, in this case, you had already found the candidate and now lost him and can't find him again.
This is a sign. You should consider a different line of work.
