one thing a lot of litigators say that they like about their jobs is that, depending on the subject matter of the lawsuit, they get to learn a great deal about something they didn't know before. e.g. the details of some sort of construction defect.

also, you can say the advocacy part of it appeals to you, and that when you were in business you saw disputes and can relate to helping the client resolve them
