If a firm is asking a candidate for a proposed compensation structure, what do you think they want to see? For a non-equity partner or of-counsel, would they likely be thinking about a base salary plus bonus and a percentage of revenues brought in? Has anyone ever heard of a non-equity partner being paid off a draw?
