seems like you also need to discipline yourself on the spending front if you spent your clerkship bonus (what is that, $15-$25K?) in Vegas. that's physically impossible for a frugal person. I blew $100 on slots at a N.O. casino (well, actually, it was $50, but my winning got up to $100, which I ultimately blew) and it made me feel ill for a week.
of course, I never thought twice about me and the wife ordering $50 for sushi delivery or blowing $150 at a Manhattan steak house for dinner back in the day, so maybe I should shut up.
