A friend just got himself a new Corvette Grand Sport (pd in the $50k range). And since I'm a bit more frugal, I decided to look at a C6 Z06 ('06's can be had for <$40k). Last weekend, I ran into someone who'd just gotten an '01 911 TT ($38k). That got me looking up 911 GT3's - too expensive though ($80+). As I day dream and drool, I'm leaning towards the Z06, but don't have the $$ for it right now.
So, what should I buy and why? Criteria are used sports car <$40k that won't kill me on repairs or maintenance.
