I am working with a midsize Chicago firm seeking a corporate (primarily M&A) partner to help with the firm's very active practice.
This position involves immediate responsibility for important firm clients.
No portables are required, although of course helpful.
Ideal background is strong academics, big firm for starters plus mid-market/entrepreneurial experience and willingness to devote time and effort to client development.
The firm will accept a well qualified out of town lawyer if she/he can waive into the Illinois bar.
