If you could work anywhere in Dallas...Where and why? tex07 August 16, 2005 09:09 am
I will be starting my 2nd year at Texas in the fall. My GPA is above 4.0, I recently made law review, I received several "Dean's Awards" (or "Am Jurs" depending on where you went to school), I clerked at 2 Top Tier firms this summer, and I plan to do a judicial clerkship for one year after school (I apologize for sounding so conceded, but I wanted to give the necessary background so that posts can be well informed). I truly enjoyed working for both firms and have offers to return. I plan on making a career in Dallas in "BIGLAW" litigation (Boutiques are ok too). If you had your choice of any firm in Dallas, where would you work and why? By the way, 2400 yearly is ok, 3000 probably isn't. Thanks in advance for your input.
